Machinist/Grinder Needed
System One is partnering with one of our Aerospace clients in the Tulsa Area seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join their team. This role is crucial as it involves handling materials that are challenging to shape or manage manually or with conventional equipment.
Position Details: Openings: 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12:00am) Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Prepare and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling. Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand task specifications. Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operations. Load raw materials and parts onto machines. Conduct test runs to ensure outputs meet specifications. Set machines for full cycles to fabricate large quantities of parts. Supervise machines during tasks and make necessary adjustments. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements. Perform daily maintenance checks on machinery. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education preferred. Experience with numerical control machining and ability to read machine drawings. Proficiency in blueprint reading with GD&T capabilities. Ability to make mathematical calculations and solve technical problems. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently using sound judgment. Good verbal, written, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Previous CNC experience required. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
