Job Description
We are currently seeking dedicated warehouse associates/general laborers for the role of Grinder/Secondary (Operator C). This position involves operating a hand grinder, parts shotblaster, packager, and machine operator helper. The first shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:00am – 2:30pm with potential for overtime. The second shift runs from 3:00pm - 11:30pm, also with the possibility of overtime. Please note that overtime could increase your weekly work hours to 50-55 hours. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 months.
ResponsibilitiesPiece processing including grinding, blasting, marking, finishing, machining, beveling, and/or forming.Production of quality parts to customer specifications and efficient scrap utilization.Work order confirmation on computer (SAP).Operating a crane, forklift, or side loader to move skids of material or plate as needed.Carrying/moving packaging supplies and packaging skids as needed.All other duties as assigned; responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Essential SkillsUse of tape measure.Use of calipers.Basic calculator operation.Dedication.Reliability.Teamwork.Additional Skills & QualificationsBlueprint reading (preferred).Forklift operation (preferred).Overhead crane experience (huge plus).Power tool operation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
