Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Grinder Operator to join their team. As a Grinder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Grinder Operator **Location:** Hartland, WI **Pay Range:** Up to $70,000 **What's the Job?** + Set up and operate Blanchard grinding machines with vertical spindle and rotating table to grind flat surfaces of metal workpieces. + Analyze specifications and select segments (tooling) according to knowledge of grinding procedures. + Position and secure workpieces on magnetic chucks or directly to machine tables. + Verify dimensions of ground workpieces for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments. + May grind nonmagnetic materials, such as stainless steel and aluminum. **What's Needed?** + No prior experience required; training will be provided. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers and dial indicators. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Willingness to work the second shift, Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain hands-on experience with advanced machinery. + Be part of a team that values quality and precision. + Potential for career growth and development within the company. + Competitive salary based on experience and performance.
