Comprehensive Compensation Package:
Pay Rate: Up to $22 per hour - Depending On Experience
Job Description:
Read and Interpret Engineering models and drawings, dimensioning and tolerancing.Experience and knowledge of capabilities and processes of all machining good practice.Measuring metrology (use and calibration of measuring instruments)Experience and knowledge of Set-up and operation of manual lathes, mills, grinders.

(Normally there should only be 5 to 10).
Responsible for adherence to Pactiv safety policies, procedures, critical safety rules and participation in all require safety performance events.Plan and organize all manual machining activities, in accordance with the process plans.Select and order appropriate tooling for optimum cutting conditions using proper and efficient feeds and speeds for material conditions.Interpret Engineering drawings designs, application and tolerance.Complete preventative maintenance on manual equipment according to the PM schedule.Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures as required.Track and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of machining operations.Coordinate schedule/priorities with the Shop SupervisorVerify “first-off” and that all machined components meet tolerances and quality requirements prior to moving components on to the next stage.Maintains all working areas in accordance with Pactiv housekeeping (5S) standards QualificationsCompetencies:
A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to proactively communicate ideas, changes and improvement suggestions; handle multiple and diverse manufacturing tasks with minimum supervision; and the willingness to be flexible with job responsibilities.
