Job Description
Seeking a grit blaster to remove old coatings from gas turbine parts. The role involves grit blasting a ceramic (thermal bearing mat coating) off in a blasting booth. The facility specializes in repairs, requiring the removal of old coatings so parts can be repaired. Precision is essential due to the thin gauged stainless and alloy materials involved. Duties include blasting nuts, bolts, and turbine components.

Work Environment
Open-aired, clean shop. The role requires working in a blast booth with a protective suit. The shop may move within North Houston in 5-6 months. The work schedule is 5am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with frequent Saturdays and some Sundays. Expect a lot of working hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
