The Groomer/Cat Driver Level 1 will operate SnowCat equipment, perform all grooming and feature building as defined by the Innovative Environments and Mountain ops leadership team. This individual is methodical, creative, and takes pride in everything they build. This operator is a central part of our brand, from grooming corduroy to park builds ranging from progression to our Pop Up Parks and everything in between.
While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Groomer/Cat Driver Level 1:
Performs daily equipment inspections at start of shift, completes log, and maintains equipment fluid levels.
Assists Lead Groomer in grooming ski runs to seamless corduroy using a combination of blade and tiller without unnecessary stress on the machine, as directed by the Lead Groomer.
Builds and maintains ski lift loading and unloading ramps as qualified and as directed by Lead Groomer.
Monitor and adjust snowmaking fan guns as necessary and/or as directed throughout shift.
Other grooming/snow-making duties as assigned.

Groom trails and provide highest quality snow surface for guestsPreform pre and post shift snowcat inspections, maintenance requests and fuelingMaintain a clean cab and snowcatWork under the guidance of the grooming manager, supervisor or shift lead to complete grooming tasks, trail assignments and other assigned work.Build and maintain lift load and unload ramps and base area.Assist other departments when neededOther duties will be assigned as neededWhat we're looking for:
Valid US drivers license
18+ years old
Strong communication skills
Personal integrity and honesty
Strong attention to detail
Team mentally and desire to learn
Can take direction and feed back
Ability to work outside in a cold alpine environment
Lift 50lbs
Strong knowledge of skiing and snowboarding
Preferred experience:
Prior snowcat operating
Heavy equipment operator
