Job Description

We are looking for a Product Management/Marketing Intern to join our Ground Road Vehicle team for the summer of 2025. This engineering internship role immerses the candidate into a collaborative team environment focused on the design and build of state-of-the-art durability and performance test systems for our automotive customers. 

JOB SUMMARY

Assist in managing assigned products to ensure global success over their entire lifecycle. Ensure the products meet the market needs now and in the future by maximizing customer satisfaction. Achieve the product goals for growth, profitability, quality, and market share, consistent with business unit's objectives and strategies.

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in a Customer-Back Innovation program, collaborating with a cross-functional team from across the organization, focused on retrofitting new technology into the previous generation product to extend the lifecycle of the customer’s legacy assets.

Lead the design of a new platform product intranet SharePoint site that contains sales and marketing tools and presentations. Work with the product managers to develop new content for the site and determine how to structure the site to organize information and documents.

INTERN EXPERIENCE

This full-time, paid internship is located on-site in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with a manager and mentor to complete a project from start to finish during the summer. Plus, with flexible start and end dates, you can tailor the experience to your schedule.

Throughout the program, you'll have opportunities to attend networking events, both within MTS and across ITW’s divisions in Minnesota. You’ll also enjoy personal and professional development sessions, plus fun activities like baseball games, happy hours, and summer sports leagues.

At the end of the summer, you'll present your project to MTS business leaders, showcasing your contributions and impact. If you're ready for a summer filled with learning, growth, and excitement, the MTS Systems Internship Program is for you!

 

 

QualificationsRising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related degree3.0 GPA or above.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesEager to learn, with a proactive and positive attitude.Leadership and teamwork capabilities required (extracurricular, academic, etc.).Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Must be able to work onsite at our Eden Prairie, MN location. Previous relevant internship experience preferred.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24-27/ hour based on degree and experience
