Our client in the Tallahassee, Florida area is looking to hire a Grounds Keeper for their location. No previous Grounds experience is needed for this position, but it is preferred. Responsibilities include maintaining the appearance and upkeep of outdoor spaces, including lawns, trees, shrubs, and other plants.

The Day-to-Day:

Lawn care: Mow, trim, and edge lawnsPlant care: Plant, water, prune, and fertilize flowers, shrubs, and treesWeed removal: Remove weeds and debris from outdoor areasEquipment operation: Use power tools and hand tools, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipmentIrrigation: Set up, adjust, repair, and clean irrigation systemsRepairs: Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaPrevious Grounds experience preferred but not requiredGood attention to detail

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$14.00 to $15.00 /hrMonday to Friday7:00 AM to 3:30 PM(A change from present work shift will go to (4) 10’s through the Summer, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday to Thursday).
