Your Opportunity as a Groundskeeper

The groundskeeper is responsible for cleaning and refuse removal throughout the facility.

 

Location: 2035 N Narragansett Ave, Chicago, IL 60639 (Hostess Manufacturing Plant)

 

Work Arrangements: 100% on-site, 1st Shift: 7am-3pm

 

Compensation Base Rate: $19.10 - $20.13/hr.

 

In this Role You Will: 

May clean floors, lights, walls, windows, ceilings, restrooms, break room, equipment, and other areas as assigned by leadership.Communicate with leadership regarding problems and cleaning frequency.Clean grounds as needed.Discard waste and/or trash.Assist in training new team members.May perform other duties not listed.Demonstrate and promote a solution based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.Promote and ensure a safe work environment.

What We are Looking For: 

Skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: 

Previous cleaning/maintenance/upkeep experience preferred.High School diploma, or equivalent preferred.Forklift experience preferred.

 

 Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.

 

Physical Demands

The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds. 

The employee will work, as needed, in a typical seasonal outdoor setting maintaining cleanliness of the grounds.
