Associa Sierra North is seeking a Groundskeeper for an community located in Graeagle, California. The position requires the incumbent to work daily on site. It is part-time (20 hours a week) in the Summer and seasonal in the Winter.
\n\nPosition Summary
\nGroundskeepers generally work independently, for management companies, or directly for other
\nemployers, and are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of
\nparticular areas of land. As such, they usually work outside and must be able to withstand hot and cold
\nweather. Common duties include mowing lawns, pulling weeds, trimming hedges, planting flowers and
\nshrubbery, fertilizing, watering, raking leaves, and generally keeping the lawn, plants, and hedges in
\ngood shape.
\n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities
\nDuties include but are not limited to:
\n\nHandle basic preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.\nKeep the grounds in a clean and attractive manner.\nMonitor the upkeep and maintenance of the landscaping and grounds daily.\nCleans sidewalks and disposes of debris and trash properly.\nAssist other staff with larger maintenance repairs or projects.\nSnow removal.\nOther duties assigned.\n\n RequirementsKnowledge and Skills
\n\nKnowledge of equipment such as lawnmowers, blowers, and trimmers, and be familiar with avariety of gardening tools to be used for different purposes. They must also be reliable and physically fit, as their job can be quite labor-intensive.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nInterpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n\nEducation and Experience
\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience\n\n\nCertifications or Licenses
