EMI is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Laborer to maintain the grounds of industrial, commercial or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields. Will occasionally make repairs to structures and equipment. Assistance with project clean-up and carting way of debris is also part of the Ground Maintenance Laborer’s day. The ideal Grounds Maintenance Laborer is experienced in all tools and equipment used in grounds keeping/landscaping and follows all health and safety standards.

Salary

$17.95 /hr. plus $4.57 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Key Responsibilities Cut grass, trim hedges and edge Walking or riding mowers (less than 2,000 lbs.) Plant, prune and water grass, flowers, shrubs and trees Repair and paint fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings Assist with road, walks, and building repair Clean grounds, comfort stations, offices, workshop areas, and parking lots Pick up and/or cart away leaves, paper or other litter Performs other related duties as assigned
