Due to the constant expansion of our Defence division, Downer has a Full-Time opportunity available for a Groundsperson to join the team located at Lavarack Barracks. The opportunity follows a family friendly roster: 6am – 2:30pm Mon – Thurs, 6am – 12:30pm Fri. Free parking, uniforms, PPE and land maintenance equipment are supplied.

 

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES:

Your day-to-day activities will be: 

General Gardening: Mowing, Brush cutting; Edging; Pruning; Weed, pest and Disease control. These positions do not require any experience, you come with a willingness to learn and be part of an outstanding team. Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Current Driver's License (MR or Higher) High level of understanding and commitment to Zero Harm in the Workplace Have resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptable.
