**Job Title: Groundwater Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an OSHA certified Groundwater Technician responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of groundwater data to ensure the sustainability and safety of the water source. This role involves working in the field to monitor groundwater levels, quality, and usage, as well as performing technical tasks related to water resource management. High volume groundwater well sampling experience is preferred. **Responsibilities** + Collect groundwater samples for analysis. + Analyze and report groundwater data to ensure water source sustainability and safety. + Monitor groundwater levels, quality, and usage in the field. + Perform technical tasks related to water resource management. + Conduct field service tasks, including construction and soil sampling. + Utilize hand tools and hand augers effectively. + Occasionally perform traffic control duties. + Meet safety requirements, including wearing basic PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, work boots). **Essential Skills** + OSHA certification + Experience in groundwater sampling and analysis + Proficiency in using hand tools and hand augers + Knowledge of groundwater levels and quality monitoring + Ability to perform technical tasks related to water resource management + 40-hour HAZWOPER certification **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Willingness to learn and work hard + Clean DMV record (no multiple/recent DUIs or suspended licenses) **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team committed to ensuring the sustainability and safety of groundwater resources. This position is temp-to-hire, offering the potential for permanent employment based on performance. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buena Park, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
