Group Benefits Account Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Group Benefits Account Manager for one of our insurance clients. The daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Strategize and manage employee benefit programs, including the coordination of the annual open enrollment process, either online or in-person, resolving any issues that arise, establishing a primary relationship with clients and carriers, and acting as a main point of contact for benefits-related inquiries from clients.
-Collaborate with the Benefits Technology Department to encourage and assist clients in using our online open enrollment systems.
-Manage client accounts accurately and ensure all deadlines are met.
-Market and secure new business and/or renewal business, either independently or in collaboration with the producer.
-Develop proposals for renewals.
-Conduct meetings with the producer and service teams to ensure service standards are upheld.
-Liaise and collaborate with our carriers to ensure client expectations are met.
-Seize opportunities and take initiatives to enhance knowledge of the industry, regulatory requirements, and available tools and resources to improve the department and assist clients.
-Respond to inquiries from the producer and the service teams regarding accounts.
-Communicate with clients and respond to their questions about their policies and/or services.
-Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, carriers, and other agency staff.
-Travel or make visits to insurance companies and/or clients as needed.
-Uphold the confidentiality of client and company information.
-Carry out other duties as assigned that are appropriate to the position.
