We have an exciting, year long opportunity for an undergrad student looking to gain work experience in sales within the Commercial Jets world.

Job Description

The purpose of this placement is to assist the brokers in our Commercial Jets division.  You will be responsible for assisting with ad-hoc administration and tasks all whilst learning first-hand what goes into ensuring a Commercial Jets charter is carried out to the highest of standards. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Assisting brokers with their portfolio of clientsDeveloping an expert understanding of the Commercial aircraft and chartering processLiaising with clients, airlines and airportsAssisting the broker with charter bookings from enquiry to post-flight reportFlight watching/overseeing flight departures and flight reppingAd hoc administration tasks

The Placement

Duration: 12 months, starting anytime from June - SeptemberBased at HQ in Surbiton Due to the nature of the industry, working hours will vary but predominantly 09:00 - 17:30 Monday-FridayTraining will be providedTravel opportunities will be given

Qualifications

Key Skills & Experience 

The ideal candidate will be working towards a degree in Aviation, Airline, Airport or Business Management An interest in sales and / or aviation is essential Previous experience working in a customer facing roleHardworking and flexible (this is simply not a 9-5) Exceptional communication skills, fluency in a second language is an advantageExcellent problem solvingStrong resilience with the ability to thrive working under pressureMust live within a commutable distance to the job location Drivers License desirable
