MAIN FUNCTION:
+ To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mind/mood altering substances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Provide group, individual, and family counseling to caseload.
+ Complete assessments, admissions, and treatment plans.
+ Maintain documentation and contact with referral sources (EAPs, Criminal Justice).
+ Generate and send Referral Progress Reports.
+ Participate in weekly case reviews, supervision, and staff meetings.
+ Ensure adherence to Seafield’s policies and confidentiality regulations.
+ Assist with discharge, transitional planning, and referrals.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
+ Assessment, referral, and treatment planning
+ Group, individual, and family counseling
+ Didactic presentation and documentation
+ Crisis intervention
+ Age-specific skills (Adolescents, Geriatric)
+ Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
+ CASAC or CASAC eligible, or B/S-B/A with working knowledge of substance abuse disorders.
