Group Digital/IT Category Manager

TITAN Group is currently looking for a highly skilled Digital/IT Category Manager to support the Group Procurement Category & Processes Director in the optimum development & execution of sourcing strategies and capturing of savings of TITAN Group Digital/IT spend as well as in the design and automation of Digital/IT category procurement processes.

 

The position is based in Athens, Greece.

 

What you will be doing:
 

Strategic Sourcing:

Rationalize and standardize demand by supporting local and Group Digital/IT functions to develop optimized specs for material/services, digital transformation projects and relevant tools/services, by providing input to feasibility studies of large Digital/IT Capex projects  and by reviewing local and Group Digital/IT budget forecasts Define strategy to optimize TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) with the design of analyses/risk mitigation, development of strategic hypotheses and preparation of business cases. He/she will syndicate the category sourcing strategy and action plan with local and Group stakeholders Execute category strategy:  Design global tenders and develop recommendations for the selection of suppliers,vendors, software developers and finalization of Group contracts; being engaged in the overall Digital/IT Capex procurement process for the optimization of the required spending  Track performance of suppliers with input from internal stakeholders/end-users: Monitor realization of savings across BUs/functions and define budgetary impact, as well as support end-users and local procurement in the resolution of contract execution issues. Group Procurement Development with the preparation of category reports and with the drive of annual productivity improvements in each category. The job holder will act as the agent of change that will develop deep category expertise; enabling  talent development in the specific procurement categories

 

Digital/IT category Procurement Process:

Design, develop and optimize process with the recording of P2P processes of Digital/IT categories and identification of specificities among BUs/Group Functions, always with a particular focus on automation and digitization. Μoreover, ensure that relevant documentation is available to all stakeholders through automated channels and is reflected on the process workflows and architecture of all relevant Group systems

 

What you will bring along:

 

Studies at a postgraduate level preferably in Information Technology, Engineering or Business/Management fields. Postgraduate degrees in a STEM subject can also be considered. MBA or Masters in Business/Supply Chain Management will be appreciated Approximately 7-10 years in a strategic sourcing role with IT category experience, specifically IT hardware, software, IT professional services and in procuring of large IT systems (ERP, CRM, etc.). Experience in procuring Custom Software Development Services for in-house as well as customer facing bespoke tools (for desktop, web as well as mobile apps) is considered an asset Proven experience in IT/Digital sourcing and procurement techniques within a multinational corporate environment Robust knowledge in Digital/IT industry, category management, contract/subcontract management, spend analyses Understanding of digital transformation projects, companies landscape and business model Design and development of key performance metrics/KPIs, with previous experience in their use for business cases  Fluency in both English and Greek (oral and written at professional corporate level).
