**Position:** Group Facilitator (Rehab) **Location:** Irondale, AL **Shift:** Monday-Friday; 8am-4pm **Job Description:** Assists individuals in learning skills to cope and better understand mental illness; assists with activities of daily living and encourages attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion and independence. **Essential Duties:** **Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license. Clearance following a federal and state criminal background check. Clearance based on a 3-year motor vehicle abstract assessment, and annually thereafter. An initial tuberculosis screening; Annual tuberculosis screening to be completed only if there has been known exposure or evidence of ongoing TB transmission. Must be able to successfully complete required training which includes but is not limited to: -American Red Cross Adult CPR and First Aid -Crisis Response Training -Initial and annual training on Preventing Abuse and Neglect and Reporting -Initial Infection Control Training and Universal Precautions -Professional and/or Specialized training as required
