THE JOB:

As a Group Housing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing group reservations, setting up room blocks, and ensuring seamless communication between our clients and the hotel operations and sales teams to provide exceptional service and maximize occupancy for group events, meetings, and conferences. This is an on-site position located at one of our Corporate Offices based in Las Vegas, NV.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Review assigned sales contracts and manage all of the Housing related contractual obligations, ensuring proper set up in the systems and communicated and executed on throughout the event (room block, rates, resort fee, concessions, attrition, etc.).Collaborate with sales and other hotel operations teams to provide a seamless guest experience from booking to check-out.Plan, prepare, and organize the distribution of necessary reporting for our clients, third-party meeting planners, management, throughout the life cycle of the event(s).Create weblinks and build rates for group bookings needs using Passkey, Amadeus, and other property management systems.Monitor pick up reports, pre-audits on rooms outside of block, supporting attrition conversations, uploading rooming lists, sub block fund collection, assisting call queue, creating upsell opportunities in the booking flow, and managing sub block agreements.Maintain and monitor room/suite inventory levels, rates, availability, room bookings, and relevant information for the meeting, convention, sports, and entertainment segments.Maintain timely communication, both written and verbal, between group clients, departmental leadership, and our property partners in various departments. This includes maintaining accurate records of group bookings, contracts, billing and payment details.Ensure all special guest requests are met and communicated to the proper department(s), including late check outs, VIP set-ups, ADA accommodations, hierarchy specifications, etc.Assist in resolving any guest or group issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.Develop and maintain knowledge/familiarity with all hotel services/features of MGMRI properties, local attractions, and industry trends.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 1 year of customer or guest services experience.High school diploma, GED or equivalent.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Prior group housing, front desk, call center or similar position experience.Prior experience working with OPERA, Delphi, Passkey, Amadeus, etc.Prior casino, hotel or similar resort setting experience.

THE STARTING PAY:

$20.00 per hour

Full-time hours that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
