Reference PE003094 Location Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth Salary Interval Monthly Package None-negotiable Description We are seeking a Group HR / Recruitment Officer to manage and streamline the end-to-end recruitment process for our client within a group of companies.

You will be required to work closely with the HR Departments within the Group as well as various levels of Senior Management.
Recruitment Process Management:
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop detailed job descriptions. Write and place job advertisements across various platforms. Screen and shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, and lead introductory discussions. Facilitate reference checks, qualification verifications, and background checks. Manage the offer process and coordinate onboarding for new hires. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain recruitment records, resumes, and interview notes. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and metrics to the Group HR Manager and CEO. Communicate professionally with recruitment agencies and candidates. Policy Development:
Assist with updating recruitment strategies, interview templates, and processes. Ad Hoc HR Support:
During quieter periods, assist with HR tasks such as personnel file updates, performance reviews, and training administration. Assisting with Employment Equity administration tasks such as minutes of meetings, filing and notice boards etc. Administration and coordination of learning/development programmes. Prepare and maintain training register/matrix. Assist with collation of data for SETA submissions accurately and efficiently. Experience and Skills:
3-5 years of proven recruitment experience in an officer role HR practitioner experience is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Adaptable, team-oriented, and detail-focused. Own vehicle and valid driver’s license. Occasional travel may be required.
