We are looking for an experienced Sales professional with modern trade experience to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down To Business
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will grow distribution of Edgewell product portfolio in modern trade channels in the most cost-efficient manner, with strong focus on customer management with consumer & customer at the center. Execute distribution strategies and manage subordinate sales team.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
• Manage sales and profitability growth through proactive development and execution of plans to achieve targets.
• Monitoring and report execution of Edgewell brands activities on the market
• Full accountability for business planning process for area of responsibility along with implementing company strategies and guidelines
• Proactively setting new business opportunities
• Follow up and implement a marketing strategy to the retailers.
• Communicating & implementing new product launches and relaunch to particular customers
• Be responsible for forecasting of goods and assuring proper product availability.
• Negotiates commercial terms, as well as annual terms.
• Analyses customer data concerning category development, performance on sales and margins.
• Maintains active contacts with customer internal decision makers in order to deliver business objectives.
• Implements category management rules to grow customer P&L.
• Monitors the levels of stock, account receivables, competitors’ activities.
• Actively cooperates with Customer Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service and Demand Planning to make profitable business at customer level.
• Executes merchandising and visibility standards of Edgewell products.
• Strong focus on team development, career development and coaching of a high-performance customer centric team focused on customer management and excellent in-store execution
Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
This is a great opportunity for someone with significant Sales/ Commercial/ Account Management experience ideally gained within the consumer goods/ personal care/ cosmetics industry. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s what we are looking for:
• Significant experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (Modern Trade), managing Key Accounts with people management experience, marketing experience would be appreciated,
• Diploma or degree in Marketing or Business-related subjects
• A strong, proactive collaborator that is comfortable interacting at all levels throughout the organisation
• Very good command of Polish & English
• Highly developed negotiations skills
• Strong leadership
• Strategic thinking & action-oriented
• Excellent communication & influencing skills
• Strong Market & Commercial understanding – Business Acumen
• Challenger style, creativity & ability to think “out of the box”, openness to change
