Group Leader, Electronic Technician - 5th shift

Pay rate: $35.76/hr

5th shift: + $1.10/hr shift differential

MON & FRI – 10:00AM – 6:00PM
AND
SAT & SUN 10:00AM – 10:00PM 

Directs a group which\nperforms the assembly, calibration, adjusting, troubleshooting and repair of a\nvariety of components, devices and systems according to predetermined\nspecifications using the appropriate test equipment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirects a group of employees\nincluding technicians who perform the assembly, calibration, adjusting,\ntroubleshooting and repair of a variety of components, devices and systems at a\nlevel consistent with the educational requirements stated at the end of this\njob description.Analyze and plan work assignments and\nassign employees accordingly.Instruct\nemployees on proper work methods and follow up on those instructions for\ncorrect performance.Remain current\non all standards and specifications affecting the group.Prepare necessary paperwork relative to the group.Refer unusual\nproblems to supervisor or representatives of other departments.Embrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, but not limited to Safety & Behavioral Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built In Quality (BIQ),  Coaching, Total productive Maintenance (TPM) and Knowledge Sharing.Handles lightweight parts\nand materials.Works seated or standing.Occasionally handles heavy fixtures.

YOU MUST HAVEAAS of Electronics Degree, or equivalent 2 year degree, from accredited college or university OR equivalent military training
Preferred -  3+ years of electronic tech industry experience
