Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

How will you make an impact?

Lead organizational change, mentor, develop, and empower. Encourage relationships and drive engagement with diverse teams.

What will you do?

Assist the Team Leader in training, PPI actions, CAPA actions, improvement efforts, and oversight of the packaging area.Serve as a trainer and mentor for new packaging technicians.Work effectively with cross-department teams to resolve issues.Assign tasks to all packaging personnel within the processing rooms, encourage collaboration, and ensure compliance with quality standards.Cover multiple rooms if required based on coverage situations.Ensure pacing and miss codes are documented with attention to detail.Perform and record in-process checks accurately and at appropriate intervals.Identify, resolve, and communicate issues during packaging to the appropriate cross-department resources.Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.Ensure each assigned packaging room aligns with SOP and GMP at the start of each job step, shift, and after breaks and lunches.Ensure room set-up per standard layout.Complete PASS Review checks at end of order for compliance.Ensure ALCOA principles are adhered to and encourage team members to follow them.Perform Start-up Job inspections including EPO reviews and resolve issues prior to starting a job.Review end-of-job checks with attention to detail, including any accountability issues and accurate follow-up.

Education

High School/Trade school/Some College

Experience

Ability to read, write, and complete basic mathematical calculations.Two years of pharmaceutical or food-related packaging experience.Hand-eye coordination, manual and finger dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks and learn new ones with assistance from supervisors and fellow workers.Dexterity and ability to learn and perform various manufacturing/packaging operations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to resolve issues.Exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently to move objects.Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.Allergies to specific drugs may disqualify individuals from performing these duties.Vision requirements: Near Vision Acuity with minimum 20/40 corrected vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent packaging skills, attention to detail, and motivation to exceed expected output while maintaining quality standards.
