JJ is recruiting for a Group Medical Manager (Medical Head) Central Nervous System Immunology in Istanbul, Turkey.

As the Group Medical Manager (Medical Head) you will report to the Medical Director, and will have responsibility for leading ensuring that Janssen’s Medical Affairs Group is functioning in the most efficient productive way, setting/reshaping strategies and objectives related to the brand plan activities, leading scientific engagement activities, and monitoring all promotional activities for compliance with local laws, regulations, Janssen’s standards; so as Janssen’s targets are achieved in line with the ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting strategies and objectives related to the brand plan scientific activities and managing department activities in compliance with these frameworks. Ensuring the preparation and execution of medical plans are in line with therapeutic area strategies and the medical budgets are prepared, spent and controlled as per medical AP.Coordinated with the business units, regulatory team, market access team, and managers to formulate strategies and tactics for brand plans. Determines the data gap for the related products and plans for the vital observational/interventional studies. Prepares the clinical study plan and study budget.Review and approval SE activities, promotional activities and materials per ethical standards, MoH AIFD regulations, company procedures and scientific literatureDeveloping and maintaining relations with External Experts.Implement team goals or objectives; supervise, train or guide team members, mediate any interpersonal issues, inspire and empower team members, provide effective feedback, manage remote teams, utilize technology effectively, be knowledgeable about each team member’s job role

Education:

Have a degree in medicine (MD), or pharmacy.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

Over 5 years of experience in driving and managing medical/brand strategy in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for backgrounds in immunology and psychiatry.Proven experience in team management, with strong oral and written communication skills in English.Strong commitment to ethical standards and accountability, complemented by robust managerial and problem-solving skills.Proficient in MS Office applications, with excellent presentation and teaching abilities, representing JJ professionally at various events; Must be able to reside in İstanbul.
