Group Product Manager, Camping World

Position Overview:

Camping World is seeking an experienced Group Product Manager (GPM) to lead a dynamic team of product managers and product owners responsible for the strategy, development, and optimization of our RV sales and retail products & services websites. As a Group Product Manager, you will oversee the digital experience for our customers and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, engineering, and business leaders to enhance our online retail presence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, e-commerce, and web experience, as well as a deep understanding of the RV industry and consumer needs. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of how our customers interact with our products and services online, driving growth and ensuring seamless, user-centric experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and product owners. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.

Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the RV sales, retail, and services websites. Define long-term goals and prioritize the roadmap to align with business objectives and customer needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, engineering, design, and data teams to ensure alignment on product priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.

Customer-Centric Focus: Ensure that customer insights and feedback are central to the product development process. Use data, research, and analytics to identify opportunities for product improvements, optimization, and new features.

Roadmap Development & Execution: Oversee the development and execution of a cohesive product roadmap. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

E-commerce Optimization: Lead efforts to improve the overall online shopping experience for RVs and related products. Focus on enhancing user journeys, conversion rates, and overall website performance.

Performance Metrics & KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Use data to refine strategies and ensure goals are met.

Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain Camping World’s competitive edge.

Qualifications:

Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of product managers and owners. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or digital product management is strongly preferred.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the RV industry, consumer behavior, and digital retail best practices. Experience in online marketplaces and automotive or outdoor products is a plus.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of product professionals, creating an environment of innovation and high performance.

Product Development Expertise: Deep experience in managing product roadmaps, defining requirements, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions and drive measurable outcomes.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

**This role will be hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL offices.**

Pay Range:

$119,175.00-$178,788.75 Annual
