What you'll be doing

As a member of Insurance Product Management, you’ll be responsible for supporting and executing the development of acquisition and engagement strategies to maximize client profitability and remain competitive in the marketplace. As a Group Product Manager, you’ll manage and monitor key business metrics to exceed industry growth. Lead initiatives including establishing objectives, setting priorities for campaign management, and continue to evolve the existing processes and systems to optimize the revenue from products and client experiences.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

Business Growth – Deliver year over year growth in product portfolio business performance and engagement business key performance indicators.Insurance Acquisition Thought Leadership and Planning – Identify untapped opportunities to drive growth informed by consumer, category, and business insights and data as well as industry and competitive trends.  You will consistently challenge existing business practices and proactively champion the evolution of the business to respond to the changing Insurance Industry landscape.  You will build, deliver and champion a year over year growth strategy that will strive to position your product as an industry leader in client acquisition and engagement.Champion, Lead, and Deliver Key Initiatives – Champion and lead opportunities, development of business cases, and successfully secure support and alignment to the initiatives.  You will lead cross functional teams to successfully deliver key initiatives that drive performance on key business metrics, on time, and in budget. You will demonstrate the value of initiatives on the business, draw key fact based insights and conclusions to inform continuous improvement go-forward strategies.Build Strong Relationships and Collaborative Partnerships with key stakeholders – Build collaborative partnerships and strong relationships with key stakeholders will be a key part of your success.  You will collaborate with multiple partners from across the enterprise to identify opportunities and successfully deliver initiatives that drive business results and enhance overall client experience.Drive Change – Identify opportunities for change in both what we do and how we deliver, that will drive team and business performance.  You will successfully secure support for your ideas, and drive implementation of recommended changes in partnership with others. 

Who you are

You can demonstrate experience in acquisition and engagement planning, execution and pricing best-practices (5+ years). You also have in-depth knowledge of insurance products. You have strategic planning skills sufficient to establish and co-ordinate complex assignments and projects which can be ambiguous in nature.
