Group Program Manager - Software

 In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will be to:

Lead Software products and solutions development Build an inclusive and encouraging environment for employees within the organization.  Identify and implement plans for technical competency development at EICP Attract, develop, appraise, and retain qualified and skilled staff Ensure that the necessary resources (people, technology, budget) are allocated efficiently to meet the needs of the group’s development and growth. Develop and manage budget to fund yearly operations and infrastructure development Support global business development team to Showcase Emerson's comprehensive capabilities and diverse product portfolio to our customers to unlock new business growth opportunities Ensure projects/programs are well defined, prioritized, tracked, and communicated in a consistent and effective manner through PI and sprint planning. Closely collaborate with global Sales leadership team to define the solutions roadmap, prioritize and deliver productized solutions Propose customized architecture and solution that surpasses customer needs, giving to long-term value by addressing customers' difficulties. Equip the sales team with required tools, training, to sell the productized solution effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, operations, support) to ensure successful execution of the Product and solution  Share regular updates with senior management and other key partners regarding the performance, challenges, and success of the productized solution

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree; MBA and business studies preferred  Minimum 10 years of leadership experience – Engineering, Solutions/ Programs, Research & Development or Product Management Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment within a complex global organization Demonstrated Change Leadership skills Proven ability to influence experienced leaders in different functions Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to flex working hours to accommodate global time differences  Experience of managing and mentoring engineering resource 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience leading and implementing engineering project teams that developed new products  Experience in Software, Electrical / Control System engineering, IIOT/Edge applications Experience with Stage gated development processes Experience with Agile Product Development, e.g., SCRUM, TDD, XP Knowledge and experience of New Product Development staged gate processes Experience working with international teams  Excellent presentation and persuasion skills  Experience in PLC, Scada, DCS, IIOT, Edge applications
