Due to the continued growth of the Group and the ongoing success of this role within our business, we are now seeking to recruit additional Group Service Support Managers to complement the existing team. Although not essential, ideally, we are looking for you to be based in Central England to support the Group’s Dealerships.
Our Group Service Support Managers assist and manage our dealerships through periods of transition. Reporting into our Group Aftersales Director, you will be required to support dealerships across our network and as such, you must be flexible as these placements can be almost anywhere in the UK and as such there is the potential for extended travel around the Group and periods of time away from home. Placements in our dealerships can last from a number of weeks to several months dependent upon the requirements in the affected Dealership. This will provide an opportunity to have an immediate impact whilst working with a range of Manufacturer Brands both in Volume and Prestige.
Our Service Managers oversee the service department and are responsible for generating revenue to achieve planned labour sales, product sales and retained profit objectives for the department. Ensuring delivery of results and productivity through outstanding leadership, you will also be responsible for the day to day operation of the department including controlling costs, building a customer database, establishing and maintaining good employee relations, and maintaining service records. Additionally, you must achieve outstanding customer service results above the manufacturer standards, satisfy any service-related concerns and ensure that the department is operated at the highest level to achieve profitably and efficiency.
As part of this role you may be included in the appointment of new talent into the Group however, you will be instrumental in the induction of new Service Managers stepping into the role following your placement.
We are looking for you to be an experienced Service Manager with a proven track record of delivering objectives within a large dealership in the motor industry. You will be committed to the business and be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by improving performance, profitability and operating efficiency. You must have strong leadership, people management and communication skills as you will be moving from site to site in this project role so you must be able to build relationships quickly. We envisage that this role will have development potential and the opportunity to achieve Divisional Aftersales Management level, after a successful period with the Company.
