Position Title: Group Therapist
Setting: Psychiatric Hospital
Local Pay: $55 for Associate, $65 for Licensed with the BBS
Travel Pay: $2617 gross per week for Associate, $3017 gross per week for Licensed with the BBS
Location: Santa Rosa
Schedule: 5x8s
Days: Tues-Sat
Shift: 9a-5p
Contract Length: 6 months to start, high possibility of extension
Experience: Must be Registered or Licensed with the BBS, some group facilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities:
Independently facilitate therapeutic group sessions for patients with diverse psychiatric diagnoses, focusing on promoting emotional regulation, coping skills, and interpersonal effectiveness. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster a safe and healing environment within group settings. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution. Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, AMFT, APCC or ASW Demonstrated experience conducting group therapy sessions in a mental health setting. Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.
