Groups & Guest Service Coordinator - Denali Park Village

**Job Description**
The Groups & Guest Service Coordinator is responsible for reconfirming all group reservations at Denali Park Village, working with the front desk team to execute all contracted services, and prepare paperwork and key packets for group arrivals. It serves as the liaison between the Sales & Inventory department and the onsite Front Desk and Operations departments.

**Job Responsibilities**
+ Develop knowledge of Springer Miller (SMS) property management system.
+ Assign room blocks for group reservations, and room assignments for individual guest arrivals.
+ Update and finalize group activity and meal reservations with appropriate departments.
+ Prepare key packets and all necessary documentation for group arrivals.
+ Reconfirm group services with Tour Directors prior to group arrival.
+ Greet tour directors and groups when arriving onsite. Provide site tours for tour directors that are unfamiliar with the property.
+ Complete other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and Sales & Inventory Manager.
+ Willing to work evenings and weekends based on group itinerary.
+ Assist with Front Desk duties between group arrivals.
Status and Scope:
+ Reports to Denali Park Village Operations Manager.
+ Position requires focus, a positive attitude, and strong organizational skills.
+ Must be able to work efficiently ? prepared to help wherever needed.

**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred.
+ Strong ability to effectively execute MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel programs.
+ Previous experience and/or desire to work in tourism industry preferable.
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as fluency in written and spoken English language.
+ Excellent computer organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
