Our department is growing and we are seeking the highly motivated individuals with a passion for excellence to join our team.  We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualified GSE Maintenance A3 Mechanic at our Erlanger, KY hub (CVG airport). As an A3 GSE Mechanic, you will provide a variety of services to include performing preventative maintenance on ground support equipment, preforming daily scheduled work, as well as work that needs immediate attention due to the needs of the operation.

 Key Accountabilities

\n\n\n\tSafety first focused approach to conducting work\n\tPossess a full complement of personal hand tools and ability to furnish hand tools up to 1/2” drive\n\tBe able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and components\n\tThis position requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills\n\tWill utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers to diagnose and repair equipment\n\tWill be required to operate a large assortment of equipment in their job function\n\tWill be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment, and follow rules and regulations related to a detailed lockout/tag out program\n\tMust be detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude\n\tReport to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis\n\tMust understand and have the ability to interact with a computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)\n\n\n

Skills & Qualifications

\n\n\n\tValid driver’s license\n\tKnowledge of service and repair diesel powered equipment\n\tKnowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems\n\tKnowledge of service and repair of complex Hydraulic systems\n\tKnowledge of service and repair of electrical systems\n\tAbility to weld\n\tBe proficient in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics\n\tAble to work well individually and in a team setting\n\tStrong communication skills (written and verbal)\n\tBe proficient in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics\n\tGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office\n\n\n

Physical Requirements:

\n\n\n\tMust be able to lift up to 70lbs regularly\n\tMust be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times\n\tMust be able to work at heights\n\tMust be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather\n\tMust be able to stand for long durations\n\n\n
