How will you make an impact in this role?

The American Express Card Issuance Partner Manager role manages the day-to-day operations of the end-to-end card issuance process for a specific region/bureau.

Key Responsibilities include:

Ensuring all card delivery SLAs are met in accordance with the contract.  Liaising with business groups on market performance and initiatives.  Driving change initiatives and new product launches across the relevant market  Key point of contact for operational and business partner enquiries  Management of issue resolution and the associated re-engineering analysis and defect elimination work  Championing the customer experience and re-engineering goals for Amex with the vendor  Communicating within World Service vendor capabilities and service delivery performance Identifying and developing re-engineering opportunities to drive both shareholder and customer metrics

Minimum Qualifications

Able to balance and leverage vendor capability versus business and customer requirement to ensure standard processes and customer satisfaction Self-motivated with little direct supervision required Professional who will represent American Express external vendors Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within both the American Express and third-party vendor organization Excellent relationship management skills Bilingual English/Japanese is required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within outsourcing / relationship management industry, experience within customer communications environment is advantageous Proven relationship and/or contract management with external partner/s and internal business partners Strong Leadership skills with ability to influence without direct authority Excellent Negotiation skills
