Allied Universal® is hiring a GSOC Coordinator in Boston, Ma. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Coordinator supports global security management and other business function leaders for a high-profile client. This position reports directly to the Account Manager and supervises GSOC Analysts and associated projects. The GSOC Coordinator is expected to perform shift briefings, monitor team health, and ensure training requirements are met. The GSOC Coordinator is the local point of contact on all processes within the GSOC and directly responsible for the execution and improvement of policies, procedures, and processes.
Annual salary starting $82,000
Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years GSOC Managment experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as communications hub for the Global Security departmentAct as the initial point of contact in the GSOC for any business risk pertaining to the protection of the client’s people, assets, operations, and reputationOversee the operations of the GSOC, ensuring adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across all aspects of the operationWork with the leadership team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact the client domestically and internationallyCreate and develop programs and processes that scale and balance near-term goals and long-term strategyEnsure technical solutions, workflows, and processes for the GSOC continue to be accurate, efficient, and innovative; undertake quality assurance measures and develop and implement solutions to resolve deficienciesCommunicate and disseminate information to key stakeholders using established communication methods and proceduresPromote a culture that sustains employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforceEnsure staffing levels meet operational needs and operators are trained appropriately for their roles; develop and implement department and site-specific training programs to ensure the success of the GSOC operationProvides back-up, support, and on-call function as-neededQUALIFICATIONS:
Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensingBachelor’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Public Safety, Cybersecurity, or related field of studyMinimum of three (3) years of intelligence, corporate, military, law enforcement, and/or security experienceMinimum of three (3) years of working in and leading personnel in a Global Security Operation Center (GSOC), or similar command center environmentStrong project management skills, with the ability to work in and define ambiguity/gray areas while adhering to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExperience creating training material and conducting training programsAbility to work and communicate effectively with all levels of leadershipExcellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills with a strong ability to lead in a team environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Public Safety, Cybersecurity, or related field of studyFive (5) or more years of intelligence, corporate, military, law enforcement, and/or security experienceFive (5) or more years working in and leading personnel in a Global Security Operation Center (GSOC), or similar command center environmentOne or more of the following security industry certificationsCertified Protection Professional (CPP)Physical Security Professional (PSP)Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)BENEFITS:
