Job Duties and & Responsibilities
GSOC Operations

Manage the end-to-end process for granting physical access to client facilities and restricted areas. Includes interfacing with client associates via phone and email, granting and removing access within the client access control database, and troubleshooting access problems presented by the customerPro-actively monitor physical access and video surveillance alarms within the respective systems and be able to execute appropriate response protocols in accordance with approved operation proceduresMonitor and report after hours facilities power outages to the client

Monitor and respond to facilities 911 and duress alerts in accordance with client operating proceduresTrain local client associates and receptionists on utilization of duress or panic buttons and responseSupport internal investigations when requested by producing supporting access and video evidenceCreating and distribution of incident reportsAssist company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globeAbility to operate within a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens and utilize a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources such as open-source media, Internet, and in-house toolsDetect, analyze, and alert others of critical incidents, globally, which may impact the client’s people, products, property, or brand image – these may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failuresMonitor phone and email communications from client associates reporting suspicious activitiesProvide excellent customer service to associates by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesCreate, disseminate, and archive all “Do Not Admit” / “Be on the Lookout” approved by client corporate security departmentAbility to respond in a calm, organized, and professional manner at all timesInvestigate alarms and respond by sending security patrols or alerting first responder services as neededMonitor travel safety and security of client personnel

As a GSOC Operator, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, under guidance of GSOC Supervisor, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens. The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools. The Operator is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact the client’s people, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving mannerInvestigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as neededAssist company employees in all concerns that pertain to safety and securityMonitor travel safety and security of company’s employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five (5) years of verifiable experienceMinimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
