The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor is an integral part of the client’s Physical Security & Safety team to ensure we maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees, contractors, visitors and guests.
The GSOC Supervisor is an experienced professional who has expertise in managing people, process and technology in the control room environment, including: shift-based team leadership, strategic program oversight, effective communication (writing, speaking and presenting) and policy and procedure development, as well as technical and project management. Specific functional areas of responsibility and proficiency include: security alarm monitoring principles, dispatching and coordinating allocation of resources, stakeholder (customers and operational partners) involvement, data-driven (metrics) reporting, team and task-specific performance assessment, travel safety and security and critical incident response management. The GSOC Supervisor is responsible for driving process implementation and refinement, short and long-term project management, cross-team (control room and field-services) collaboration, maintenance of internal and external stakeholder relationships and directly supervises a team of Supervisors or Leads on assigned shift.
Support the GSOC Manager in the following responsibilities:
Oversee the coordinated development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the GSOC and all affected stakeholders.Support Threat Intelligence requirements utilizing the intelligence cycle, including effective vetting and validation processes, to deliver accurate, timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence to stakeholders.Provide strategic direction and hands-on guidance to team members in resolving issues effectively.Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and alignment of shift responsibilities.Supervise the implementation of new technologies and business processes to enhance efficiency.Initiate and maintain strategic planning to keep pace with business growth, increasing sites, and evolving customer and stakeholder needs, driving continuous improvement of GSOC capabilities.Build, lead, manage, and motivate teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment centered around people, processes, and technology to ensure life safety, security, and resiliency across client sites.Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined in the client’s Master Service Agreement (MSA).Ensure compliance with client policies and expectations, monitor critical assets, and provide rapid notifications to stakeholders through mass communication tools.Coordinate enterprise-wide detection and response to physical security, safety, and business continuity events.Develop and maintain security performance metrics and generate related reports.Provide support to field-based security specialists, site security facilitators, and relevant program stakeholders.Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 1 year or more of experience working in a GSOC.Must have a minimum of 1 year or more of experience Supervising/Managing a GSOC team.Must be well versed in current GSOC technologies.Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.Competence with MS Office Suite and other database systems.Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.Must be able to disseminate information effectively and confidently to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives, and stakeholders.Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.Prepare written reports of incidents in the proper format and with correct grammar and spelling.Compensation & Benefits:
