Overview

The project manager plays a crucial role in managing the client onboarding experience. This is an experienced level Global Transaction Services position responsible for coordination between East West Bank and clients’ executives to deliver superior service and products. Project manager needs to be knowledgeable with the latest industry knowledge of treasury management products including trends, product capability, and documentation/agreements. Candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast pace environment, analytical, detailed oriented, with strong communication skills – both written and verbal. Job functions may vary and other duties assigned based on business need.    

Responsibilities Manage multiple project onboardings of complex and technical services (transmissions, Integrated Payables, Positive Pay, Application Programming Interfaces, and etc) Primary contact for internal and external clients relating to the status of onboarding – setup of customized service, account opening, training, go-live, and post implementation review Manage and maintain thorough documentation Complete assignments within service level timeframes, while satisfying policy and procedural requirementsMeet with customers, both in person and video conference calls Resolve client requests and/or issues independentlyProvide best in class service to large commercial clientsProvide feedback on trends and escalate when appropriate Participate in inter-department projects Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledgeable with industry standard file formats (BAI, NACHA, ISO20022, and etc), system configurations, workflows, required documentation, customer user interface, and policiesStrong technical aptitude, ability to organize and coordinate multiple assignments and follow through to completionExcellent written and verbal communication skills required Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment while meeting or exceeding service level agreementsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues Demonstrates knowledge of the current regulatory environment; adheres to the Banks Risk Vision, and risk management policies and programs; recognizes and proactively addresses risk Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtimeMust be PC literate (word, excel, powerpoint, etc) and able to trouble-shoot routine PC challenges 

Education, Licensure, Year of Experience (and type of work experience):

5+ years Implementation Project Management4+ years of Treasury Management experience. 8+ years of Banking ExperienceBachelors Degree Preferred

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC Laws/Regulations, understand how these obligations relate to his/her role, and comply with these laws and regulations Will have thorough knowledge of Niche Markets such as Entertainment, Private Equity, Asset Based Lending, Capital Markets, Sponsor Finance, and Treasury Management products which also includes set up worksheets, bank legal agreements, and system requirements.

                                         

Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $100,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
