Overview Guest Activities Supervisor JOB SUMMARY: The Guest Activities Supervisor works closely with the Operations team, to deliver exceptional guest experiences during their stay at the Iconic Sanderling Resort. Activities Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of resort entertainment, on-site activities, and any administrative responsibilities related to the above. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Create fun, dynamic guest experiences! Plan, create, and schedule activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts events, tours, fitness classes, themed events and other guest special events. Adapt activities to suit different age groups and preferences. Oversee implementation, activity hosting and daily operations of activities program. Convention/Group Activities: Assist in planning and leading Team building events, treasure hunts, etc., for groups during their stay. Constantly evaluate the existing program, making necessary changes and improvements. Ensure all activities run smoothly and on schedule. Supervise and direct the Recreation Attendant team in event set up and break down. Increase attendance and awareness of activities by working with Sales and Marketing teams by displaying brochures, posters, showcases, etc. Ensuring communication with Reservations, Sales and Front Desk regarding rates and dates. Accountable for ordering supplies and monitoring daily revenue and costs.Provide a safe and fun environment for the guests by daily monitoring of the Recreation Attendants, regarding organization and cleanliness of the lobby, beach and other outdoor areas, including beach chairs/umbrellas, pool and pool deck, and all other activity areas. Inclement weather activities: Lead/Implement activities during inclement weather or supervise recreation attendants on property. Holiday/Special Event Activities: Plan, promote and implement activities for all holidays; create new special events. Excelent Benefits! Passion for hospitality. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Creativity and enthusiasm for designing engaging activities. Knowledge of safety procedures and risk management. Experience in hospitality, recreation, or related fields. CPR and first aid certification preferred The Resort is open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Candidate must have availability to work days, nights and weekends. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should be in excellent physical condition, able to walk/stand for long periods of time, capable of bending, kneeling, climbing and easily lifting 75lbs. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $20.00/Hr. - $25.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
