This collaboration will include efforts in several directions aimed at improving operations in areas relevant to ALCF: - Understanding the lifecycle of a supercomputer, the incentives of users, and how do improve the structure of resource allocations and scheduling - New scheduler designs based on reinforcement learning and related techniques - Investigating opportunities to improve queueing for capability workloads - Energy efficiency and incorporating renewable energy into HPC operations
