Guest Relations Concierge

Description:The Holy Cross Hospital Guest Relations Department consists of associates who are representative of the first impressions made to our patients and customers entrusting their care with our organization. To support the of initiatives of Person-Centered Care and Living Our Values, it is imperative that these associates convey upon first impression interactions that support our Mission and Core Values, where we provide the utmost in patient care and customer service to all those we serve. It is the responsibility of these associates to provide superior service to members of our Holy Cross community in a professional and courteous manner.

The Guest Relations Concierge position is a full time position with benefits.
Schedule: Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Shift Rotation as NeededWhat you will do:

Utilize a high level of interpersonal skills via utilization of emotional intelligence for effective communication with patients, customers, staff, and prospective clients of the organization.

Receive and handle all incoming phone calls, providing accurate information to callers in line with HIPAA compliance; as well as relaying messages and transferring callers to appropriate personnel, patients, and/or visitors.

Multi-task responding to multiple phone lines and greeting visitors entering the organization; as well as escorting new visitors guiding to various destinations in organization.

Handle individuals presenting with complaints in a professional and courteous manner by navigating those customers through the appropriate channels to address their concerns, including but not limited to offering Guest Relations Management contact information, utilizing the chain of command to address situations of more urgent necessity, etc.

Display computer and IT savvy with easy adaptability to changes in software and/or functions of various operating systems

Maintain Main Lobby conditions to assure aesthetics are in line with organization expectations

Communicate effectively with management keeping key personnel informed of pertinent information.

Maintain professional demeanor to reflect the expectations of Guest Relations associates interacting with various customers of the organization, inclusive of uniform requirements.

Participate in all mandatory education and competencies; as well as meetings or events where Guest Relations Associates' attendance is required.

Use creative methods of addressing initiatives of cost containment procedures that benefit the organization’s People-Centered 2020 strategic focus of effective stewardship.

Perform other duties as requested by management within job scope.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Excellent organizational skills are required.

Ability to maneuver and type on the keyboard for work purposes.

Ability to operate miscellaneous office equipment is necessary.
