GSA should feel comfortable interacting with families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds within a semi-medical environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nOperations:
\n\n\n\tConnect with outgoing/incoming staff at the beginning and end of each shift to relay important information\n\tMaintain a safe and secure communal living environment for families\n\tPerform walk-throughs of entire House to ensure tidiness and safety\n\tLog all maintenance issues observed during daily walk-through or requested by families\n\tCarry duty cell phone to ensure availability for families and emergencies.\n\tReceive, log, and distribute all family and staff packages and mail\n\tSupport with maintaining a clean main lobby, kitchen, seating, and dining areas\n\tLoad, unload, and run family kitchen dishwashers\n\tPrepare, put out and clean up breakfast\n\tStock and distribution resources including trash bags, laundry soap, diapers, toiletries, and other items to the laundry room and respective storages\n\tRestock and monitor soda and water machines\n\tThoroughly disinfect fridges, freezers, cots, cribs, breast pumps, strollers, wheelchairs, and other items prior to putting them away\n\tMonitor inventory of household items, and cleaning supplies\n\n \n\nFamily Care:
\n\n\n\tRespond to all family questions and emergency situations\n\tSupport Family Care Manager with check-ins, check-outs, and welcome folders/bags for incoming families\n\tEnsure all families and staff members are health screened daily and wear a face mask.\n\tComplete family requests and deliveries as reported in work order system, including fridges, freezers, cribs, cots, breast pumps, and other items to support families’ needs\n\tAddress and replace lost room guest keys and access cards\n\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
\n\n\n\tOffice and customer service experience\n\tGood problem-solving and organizational skills\n\tStrong attention to detail\n\tAble to handle difficult situations with confidence and compassion\n\tStrong communication skills\n\tInterest in working with families and children\n\tExperience working with diverse populations\n\n#HSSB
