SUMMARY

The Guest Services staff are often the first individuals that our guests interact with. It is imperative that the Guest Services staff function efficiently, professionally, and as a unified team. The Guest Services Lead is responsible for motivating and organizing the Guest Services staff to ensure daily activities are successful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include; although are not limited to:

Supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring our standards are executed accurately and with consistencyGreeting guests, informing them of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interestPrioritizing guest requests for luggage assistance, organizing luggage, ensuring a timely delivery to roomsTraining new Associates, facilitating ongoing development and learningServing as a departmental role modelAssisting Associates with general Guest Services duties such as helping guests in and out of vehicles, carrying guests’ luggage to and from their rooms, and answering guest questions and fulfilling requestsCommunicating with other departments to ensure efficient operations and high levels of guest satisfactionCompleting any other tasks and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience working in an upscale hotel preferredPrevious Guest Services or Bell Captain experience preferredBasic computer skills requiredExcellent customer service skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking, standing, and being outside most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.

The pay scale* for this position is $19.10. 

*The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
