Guest Services Ambassador - Roller Rink at Winter Whirl

THE VENUE

Legends Hospitality will be operating a roller rink and a small pop-up pub serving light bites, beer and wine.  Located on the main floor of the iconic Oculus building at World Trade Center. The Oculus serves over 250,000 daily commuters- the Winter Whirl and Polar Pub Is the Ideal holiday pop up event In New York City.

 

THE ROLE

The Roller Rink Ambassador is a dynamic, interactive role within the Winter Whirl Roller Rink with a specific focus on the guest experience and how the guest relates to guest safety. This position plays an integral role in the safety of guests and the seamless transition of guest skate times.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work on the roller rink with guests. Ensure the safety of our guests while on rink or in assigned areas Provide a high level of customer service by engaging guests, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing service to ensure a great experience Retain learned knowledge and subsequently share it with guests by providing operational answers (how much time left on rink, skate safety, etc.) to all inquiries Perform and present information in a concise, audible manner to guests—speaking loudly, clearly, and having a commanding presence Perform other duties as necessary or as required by management

 

QUALIFICATIONS Customer service experience preferred CPR/ First Aid certified preferred Multi-lingual and sign language capabilities preferred Energetic and outgoing personality Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time Ability to engage guests and work in a busy, highly interactive environment Ability to always demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service Ability to memorize historical and technical information Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-20 pounds (occasionally 30) Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary)

 

COMPENSATION

$21/Hour

Seasonal, Part-time
