JOB SUMMARY
As the Guest Services Associate, you will support all aspects of the guest experience. With an eye for excellence, this role will engage and grow relationships with our parents, campers and guests, solve problems, and provide important information to current and prospective customers. This position will assist with the follow-up with prospective guests. This includes reaching out to qualified leads from our marketing and outreach teams to convert into sales. The Guest Service Associate will work well with a team and independently, be able to multi-task and meet deadlines, be detail oriented, be flexible and have excellent communication. This role is critical to achieving an unparalleled experience for staff and guests alike.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor official phone and email accounts as assigned.
Provide an overview of the registration status on items such as balance due, missing forms, transportation reservations, store account funds and roommate requests. Adjust as needed.
Communicate with our guests attentively while on the phone and/or emails, share and promote confidence about the camp experience using topics such as camper safety, camp fun, general housing and instruction group placement, camp parent program, staff involvement and any registration perks i.e. deposit, flexible payments and available discounts.
Maintain a professional and clean appearance of the camp office creating a calm and welcoming environment.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Be punctual and prepared to greet and serve guests in a cordial, professional manner with a smile and positive attitude.
Staff should dress neatly, modestly in a professional manner, appropriate for the daily duties and in compliance for health and safety standards.
Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact and in person
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS
Microsoft Office software
Customer service experience
Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
SCHEDULE INFORMATION
Seasonal position. Must be able to work: day/evening shifts and weekends.
As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 25lbs.

Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
