Guidewire Developer (Digital)
We are hiring a Certified Digital Guidewire Developer to join our team remotely! What are the must-have qualifications for a candidate? · Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion. · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. · Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively with technical and non-technical audiences throughout the organization. · Intermediate knowledge and use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages. · Experience with Jutro and React frameworks. · Experience with Node.js and NPM. · Highly effective at using required computer languages, code versioning, and deployment software and tools at an advanced level. · Broad exposure to and fundamental knowledge of multiple technology stacks, frameworks, and additional core systems. · Relevant education and training; experience in lieu of education acceptable. What will our idea candidate have? · Proven intermediate skills in organization and prioritization with the ability to handle multiple priorities of varying impact and risk within set timeframes. · Proven ability to collaborate effectively with various teams throughout the Group. · Demonstrated basic knowledge and application of relevant project methodologies at the product team level. · Proactive mentorship that improves the effectiveness of colleagues in one or more areas of knowledge or skills, accommodating different learning styles. · Experience working in an Agile environment with other IT teams. · Guidewire Digital ACE certification or experience. · Understanding or experience with REST / SOAP web services. · Experience with version control (Git) is preferred. · Experience with issue-tracking software, such as Jira or Rally. · Experience with Dev Ops and / or continuous integration (e.g., CI) tools (e.g., TeamCity). · Experience with SQL is preferred. · Experience with logging and alerting frameworks is preferred.
