Non-Emergency Medical Transport Drivers transport clients to and from medical clinics, dialysis, and hospitals. After receiving the call from the dispatcher, the transport driver drives the vehicle to the address or location given, using the most expeditious route, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Drivers must observe traffic ordinances and regulations concerning safe vehicle operation.
Job Requirements:- Must speak English
- Drivers must provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, case managers, facilities, physicians, and nurses - Driver must be able to clients on stretchers/gurneys (must be able to lift and carry 150 pounds +)
- Drivers will be trained and certified in First Aid/CPR, defensive driving, wheelchair/gurney securement, and passenger customer service
- Must have clean driving record
