Guy Carpenter Broker Graduate Programme 2025
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Broking team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Join our Graduate Programme for an exciting and accelerated start to your career at Guy Carpenter. This challenging yet rewarding programme combines structured learning with hands-on training in our broking teams. You will also gain valuable exposure to key areas such as Analytics, Strategic Advisory, Strategy, and Client Support Services, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the reinsurance broking industry.
What can you expect:
Participate in a 2-year programme while working towards an Advanced CII professional insurance qualification through a Level 6 Senior Insurance Practitioner apprenticeship, fully supported and funded by an approved training provider.
Immerse yourself in the Broking side of the business, aligned with a Broking team in one of our two core business areas (Facultative and International).
Within our Global Specialties business, our roles are hybrid with a combination of broking and analytics. We will match you to an appropriate business area as part of our selection and assessment process.
Experience a competitive salary with structured performance-based increases every 6 months throughout the programme.
Develop a thorough understanding of insurance and reinsurance markets while building strong client and industry contacts.
Support client teams with tasks such as data verification, slip drafting, and placement process reporting.
Analyse client data to present risk management solutions and prepare proposal components and presentations for client meetings.
What you need to have?
A minimum of a 2:1 degree or be on track to achieve this.
English and Mathematics GCSE (Minimum Grade 4).
Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this role).

Proficiency in various technologies, including internal databases and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Language skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, or French being advantageous.
