SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assigning work areas to HACCP techs and is also responsible for:

Monitoring and reviewing HACCP control pointsPerforming daily data verification tasks on HACCP and SSOP recordsConducting daily pre-operational inspections on various departments throughout the plantHaving a working knowledge of HACCP and SSOP procedures throughout the plantCompleting all necessary documentation following up of noncomplianceReporting the effectiveness of preventive measures conducting SSOP and GMP auditsMonitoring and enforcing GMP policies.

Other duties include:

Monitoring the pest control programPerforming computer entry for HACCP and SSOP program documentationAssisting with plant foreign materials findings investigationAssisting team members in case of emergencies or during slack timePerforming thermometer calibrationsInforming the supervisor of any mechanical breakdown or problemOther duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: Experience is preferred but not required; must attend HACCP training.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Specific Skills: Must have basic math skills, ability to read and write, and must be able to meet essential job functions for this job classification
