Overview As a Hair Specialist at Loma de Vida, you will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will provide a variety of touch modalities for our guests as listed in the Spa Menu which. By using outstanding guest service, you will also suggest products and services to meet the individual needs of each guest. The Server shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the La Cantera Resort and Spa Culture as well as promoting La Cantera Resort and Spa as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION Provide individualized bridal hair updos and styles and event hair to our guests. Provide comprehensive consultations and trial services to ensure a complete understanding of the bride or event attendee’s vision for their hair. Work well under pressure and work efficiently while engaging the guest in happy conversation. Work to ensure guests are satisfied so that they will have beautiful photos and memories for life. Be creative and artistic and have a strong eye for detail. Enthusiastically welcome our guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly with sonal spirit, however busy and at whatever time of day. Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and associates. Utilize the freedom to go beyond to take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyalty. Personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel at home. Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests’ needs are being met. Enjoy multitasking at a fast pace while having an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Uphold the highest standards of sanitization. Comfortable in a team environment and able to receive constructive feedback. Qualifications High school education required. At least one year of Salon experience preferred. At least one year of Hospitality experience preferred. At least one year of luxury Spa experience preferred. At least one year of customer service experience is required. Current state cosmetology license required. Up-to-date knowledge of cosmetology trends and skills. Previous wedding party experience a plus.
