Canyon Ranch Wellness Club in Fort Worth, Texas is now hiring for a full-time Hair Stylist and Colorist to join our team. Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE In this role, you'll primarily be responsible for hair-oriented duties, providing guests with the highest quality of customer service to include performing professional hair services. Must perform hair cuts, blow dry, updo and wedding/special event hair services, including in-room guest service. Duties include: Educate members/guests about individual hair care needs and maintains sales quotas according to salon retail policy. Adhere to the Texas Cosmetology Board safety and cleanliness standards. Maintain upkeep and sanitation of all salon areas, work stations and equipment. Thoroughly disinfect all points of member/guest physical contact while at station with sanitizing spray or wipes to include discarding of any items left behind by member/guest. Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL Effective problem-solving skills to resolve guest concerns while delivering world-class customer service Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required. Cosmetology license or similar beauty license in Texas Texas TABC certification, or complete within 30 days of hire Completed professional cosmetologist education by accredited school and complete continued education as required by Cosmetology Board.
