Position Summary

An Inspector is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness of the hotel and will assist the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper with all duties
including training, room inspections, and inventory control. An Inspector is to inspect rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Inspecting rooms daily to ensure brand standards and overall cleanlinessKnowledge of and ability to perform opening/closing procedures for the housekeeping department as neededEnsuring that all maintenance issues are reported immediatelyCommunication of room status to all divisionsEmbracing, enforcing, and promoting the QTR culture throughout the housekeeping departmentEmbracing and demonstrating the core ideology dailyOperating with a guest satisfaction urgency and striving for 100 percent guest satisfaction at all timesPromoting and encouraging team work at all timesAbility to perform room attendant responsibilities as neededProviding information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience is required Prior experience in a hospitality setting is preferred Strong initiative and work ethicPunctual. reliable, and regular attendanceStrong attention to detailCustomer-service orientedStrong multitasking and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills – verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skills
